Although not the first time that an Artisan Factory tenant has appeared in the famed Toronto mag, it’s definitely great to see three of our artisans in the August 2012 issue of Toronto Life. The issue’s cover story is about the “Best of the City” and picks Toronto’s top-rated food, drink, fun, fashion and more. Two artisans – Josh Title of Cate and Levi and Sandra Milligan of boxx cosmetics – are chosen as best in their field.

Cate and Levi appears on page 35 where their cute and environmentally friendly toys are lauded, and boxx cosmetics is on page 39 where founder Sandra Milligan is touted for her mastery of the natural look while wearing her unique brand of cosmetics.

We couldn’t agree more with these picks and could add several more to the editor’s choices among our many great talents here at The Artisan Factory.

Turning to page 68 we find our third artisan mentioned amongst the plethora of great taste displayed by Jonathan Rosenthal in his beautiful and unique converted warehouse not far from our very own factory. The Steve Driscoll work of art entitled A Long Walk Home is a noted piece among this art collector’s great finds.

Congratulations to all our artisans for the public recognition of the great work they do and to all the artisans whose talent has yet to be discovered. We applaud you.
