Dark Horse Espresso Launches Toronto’s First Automated Barista

Dark Horse Espresso is very excited to announce that they have ‘soft launched’ a pilot store in Yorkville!

Located at 1235 Bay Street, the Dark Horse Coffee Automat is a contactless, autonomous espresso bar open 24/7. The “Automat” concept is a cheeky retro design that lends itself to the optimism of traditional food and beverage vending technologies. It offers high quality espresso drinks on par with Dark Horse cafés, ordered via a simple screen interface with a mobile app coming soon.

This project is a partnership between technology providers @rccoffeebarista, and local design shop @mjolkshop.
