Partner with CBE to kick-start Regent Park’s Art Club
Clothing Brand Experiment (CBE) is taking on a new collaboration, this time with Regent Park/Duke of York Public School. Inspired by the art talents of the Grade 5 and 6 students, CBE will kick-start the Art Club for the school through the production of a limited line of CBE Hoodies designed by the Art Club students. This limited line by CBE called “KICK-START” will be a month long collaboration resulting in printed images created by the participants of the art club and set to launch March 23, 2011. In return, with the sale of the first 8 CBE KICK-START hoodies, CBE will gift an equal 8 CBE KICK-START hoodies back to the Art Club participants, providing the club with team hoodies.
Invested in its local community, CBE KICK-START creates an opportunity to teach and inspire a future generation about the arts and importance of local goods. Art Club participants will create potential design images where final designs will be picked, refined and prepared for printing. CBE’s month long project will not only give participants an artistic outlet, but also show them each step along the way. The printing process will be demonstrated to the participants with a planned field trip to local studio, Kid Icarus in Kensington Market.
CBE KICK-START will be the first art project for the Regent Park/Duke of York Art Club. With thanks, CBE has been able to launch this collaboration with the support of Grade 5 and 6 teacher, Ms. Brown-Bowers. The Art Club will continue to be run through her leadership for the rest of the year.
