Introducing Faren: Fashion Design Artisan

A true design artisan, Faren Tami of FAREN was announced the winner of the ELLE Canada New Labels® Fashion Award in 2009. Described as a “dramatic collection inspired by the futuristic aesthetic of eco-friendly architecture”, Faren is looking forward to creating new collections while here at The Artisan Factory.

Faren began her career in fashion at an evening wear company in Toronto, where she continued to develop her skills and assisted top Canadian designer David Dixon among others. More recently, Faren was in Florence Italy, working along side a couturier/tailor, learning the art of tailoring and couture techniques.
